Lavoisier is an extensible service that provide an unified view of data collected from multiple heterogeneous sources, such as databases, web services, LDAP, text files, XML files...
No data is lost (although it can be filtered), no data is created, all data is transformed into XML views that can be easily and efficiently cross-queried with XML standard langages, such as XPath, XSLT, XQuery and STX (through SOAP or REST protocols).
